Based on a Jamaican jerk seasoning this blend has fabulous flavor with a little bit of heat. It is great as a dry rub or added to flour for frying!
The 2 oz bag comes with the following recipe for Jerk Chicken:
2 Tbsp Jerk Seasoning
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup vinegar
juice of 1 lime
scotch bonnet pepper (optional)
1 1/2 lb chicken, cut into small pieces
To make marinade combine Jerk Seasoning, brown sugar, olive oil, vinegar, lime juice, and scotch bonnet if desired.
Place chicken in a resealable bag, add marinade, squeeze out any bubbles, and seal. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.
Cook on a hot grill or skillet until juices run clear. ENJOY!
